DETERMINATION
The Minister’s decision not to renew the applicant’s medical certificate is confirmed.
REASONS FOR THE DETERMINATION
Refusal to renew a medical certificate — As the applicant is presently on medication for depression, he has been declared unfit by three separate medical experts. The applicant, himself, did not attempt to deny the fact that he was depressed and was taking medication, or infer that there were any flaws in the Canadian Aviation Regulations Standards that were instrumental in refusing renewal of his medical certificate. Therefore, the Minister of Transport’s decision not to renew the applicant’s medical certificate is confirmed.
