DETERMINATION
The Minister’s decision to suspend the applicant’s medical certificate is confirmed.
REASONS FOR THE DETERMINATION
Suspension of a category 1 aviation medical certificate — Based on the evidence provided by the Minister of Transport, the member was satisfied that it was clear that the applicant did suffer from a psychotic illness in the past. As the applicant was unable to provide any evidence that he had not suffered a psychotic type of mental disorder, the member had no choice but to uphold the Minister’s decision to suspend the applicant’s medical certificate.
